2026 Marks Our 40th Anniversary!
Hafenkapelle is a costumed fest band located in Cape Coral, Florida. In addition to traditional German festival music, we also play American big band favorites and other popular dance music, old and new. Consider the Hafenkapelle for your next party or community event.
We are available to play Oktoberfest and other German fest events in Cape Coral, Fort Myers and other locations in Southwest Florida. Hafenkapelle performs in the big tent and in the Bavarian garden for the German American Social Club's Oktoberfest the last two weekends of each October. Come out and hear us and all the other great bands.
Open Positions
We play music from classic German polkas to disco, rock, and big band swing. Our volunteer organization performs at many venues across Lee, Charlotte, and Collier counties. Musicians must be able to work independently on their parts and work well in a group. Audition required.

Hafenkapelle has a few openings for musicians who want to have fun playing ohmpa pa pa, big band and more serious German music. We won’t ask you to perform until the Kapellmeister thinks you are ready.
Book the Band
The full Band plays for Oktoberfests and other German festivals and events in Southwest Florida. A smaller group of Band members is available to play private parties, receptions, etc. We take a break from May through September.
